Rhythm, Melody & Song: Explore pitch, rhythm, and simple melodies through sing-alongs and hand percussion.
Movement & Expression: Develop gross motor skills and stage presence through musical theater-inspired games and activities.
Confidence & Performance Skills: Build self-assurance performing songs, short skits, and creative scenes.
Creativity & Imagination: Discover personal expression while acting, singing, and moving in fun, theatrical ways.
Performance: End-of-Series Presentation at the end of the last class for parents picking up.

Beginning & Intermediate Level Recorder Flute
Foundational Music Skills: Learn notation, basic music theory, and rhythms in preparation for Concert Band.
Instrument Technique & Dexterity: Develop finger strength, coordination, and breath control on the recorder.
Listening & Sight-Reading: Build ear training skills and the ability to read and play music confidently.
Discipline & Creativity: Cultivate focus through practice while exploring musical expression and personal style.

Introduction Level Concert Band Zoom Theory Class with In-Person Ensemble Lab
Musical Literacy & Instrument Skills – They’ll learn to read music, understand rhythms, and develop proper technique on their instrument.
Teamwork & Collaboration – Playing in a band requires listening to others, blending sounds, and working together to achieve a cohesive performance.
Discipline & Focus – Regular practice, learning to follow directions, and attention to detail help them build self-discipline and concentration.
Confidence & Self-Expression – Performing in front of others encourages self-confidence and allows them to express themselves creatively through music.
Prerequisites: Recorder class, theory exam, private lessons, or director discretion.

Collaboration & Leadership: Learn to listen, coordinate, and support fellow musicians in a group setting.
